4 DAYS KIBALE AND SEMULIKI EXCURSION
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest.
Rise up very early in the morning for an early riser’s cup of coffee before meeting our guide/driver who will then transfer you to Kibale forest national park through Fort portal. You will have en-route lunch in Mubende before heading to Kibale .You will reach in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Then you will go an evening cultural walk in the nearby villages then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi wetland
After breakfast the driver will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing. During trekking you may also see birds include olive long-tailed cuckoo, Western Green tinker bird, the African Grey Parrot, Red-winged Francolin, Red-chested Flufftail, White-naped Pigeon, Green-brested Pitta, African Pitta, Joyful Greenbul, Grey-winged Robin, Abyssinian Ground Thrush, Grey-throated Flycatcher, White-bellied Crested Flycatchers, Masked and Black-capped Apalises, Uganda Woodland Warbler and Chestnut-winged Starling and other animals like red-tailed monkey, diademed monkey, blue monkey, white cheeked mangabey, olive baboon, chimpanzees, black, white and red colobus, bushbuck, Harvey’s red duiker, blue duiker, genet, bush pig, and African civet. Rare ones are buffalo, waterbuck, hippo, warthog, and giant forest hog, Forest Elephant may also be spotted. In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi wet land which is also good for bird watching. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and community walk
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Semliki national park. During trekking you may spot other primates like the Grey-cheeked Mangabey, Vervet, Red-tailed and Mona, Gentle Monkeys, Olive Baboon and Guereza Colobus, De Brazza’s Monkeys, you may also spot birds like the Spot-breasted Ibis, Hartlaubs’s Duck, African Piculet, Gabon Woodpecker, Red-sided Broadbill, White-throated Blue Swallow, Green-tailed Bristlebill, Sassi’s Olive, Xavier’s, Swamp, Simple and Eastern Bearded Greenbuls, Yellow-throated Nicator, Capuchin Babbler, Northern Bearded Scrub Robin, Forest and Grey Ground Thrushes, Lemon-bellied Crombec, Brown-crowned Eremomela, Blue-headed Crested Flycatcher, and the Ituri Batis and noctunals including the African Goshawk, Red-thighed and Great Sparrows, Ayres Hawk-Eagle and Cassin’s Spinetail among others. Return to the lodge for lunch in the afternoon you can visit Ntoroko village for a community walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4: Drive to Kampala
On this last day of your safari, you will have a morning breakfast though not very early and then afterwards drive to Kampala through Fort portal. You will have en-route lunch on the way and then proceed to Kampala and this marks the end of your safari.Book Now
