3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Wildlife Tour
DAY ONE : TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or your residence and set off on the southwards to Masaka. You will have a stop to look at the Royal Drum makers, then also at the Equator where an experiment that illustrates that it is the real equator will be demonstrated to you as explanation will follow. Have lunch at in Mbarara and then continue through the lush hills to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the evening. Have a game drive as enroute and if you are lucky you will encounter various animals like Elephants, antelopes like topis and many others.
DAY TWO : BOAT CRUISE AND DRIVE ALONG THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Go for an early morning game drive along the Queens mile or the Kasenyi miles Tracks. You will search for animals like Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Hyenas among others. Return to the lodge for mid morning breakfast. Take lunch and then go for the afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. Hippos breathe and squirt mere feet away from the boat, Buffalo loiter in the , shores and shallow ends of the channel as a stunning variety of birds grace the grasses on the shores. Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans, Great and Long-Tailed Cormorants, African Jacana, Open-Billed Stork, Malachite and Pied Kingfishers are commonly seen. February and March offer spectacular sightings of some of the bird migrants.
DAY THREE : DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA
This morning after breakfast we will drive back to Kampala passing through the Ishasha sector as you enjoy more wildlife.
